We are Team Tioga
Background
Team Tioga, a collaboration of Tioga County Local Development Corporation, Tioga County Economic Development and Planning, and Tioga County Chamber of Commerce strive to create recruitment and community information marketing assets that can be used in recruitment efforts to attract skilled employees, new residents, and new businesses.
During a recovery planning process undertaken by several committees within the County, a need was identified for centralized recruitment tools, including a website, to assist local businesses, realtors, economic development organizations, and schools in their talent recruitment and attraction efforts. The move to remote work as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic has created opportunities for smaller, more rural destinations to attract new talent, business and residents from more metropolitan areas. This website works to provide information and promote the quality of life in the County.
Our "Why"
The purpose of the Tioga County workforce development brand is to grow and strengthen the community with an influx of working-age members while preserving the community’s atmosphere and nature.
Tioga County and the communities within it are ready to welcome new neighbors to their region, show them around and accept their ideas and influence. They are ready to work together and play together, side-by-side.

Tioga County Local Development Corporation
The Tioga County Local Development Corporation (TCLDC) is directly responsible for the support, guidance, and oversight of the Tioga County Tourism Office, the official designated Tourism Promotion Agency (TPA) for Tioga County in the State of New York.
Tioga County Economic Development and Planning
The Economic Development & Planning office facilitates and supports activities which increase job opportunities, maximize the quality of life, and foster a vibrant rural economy within the County.
Tioga County Chamber of Commerce
The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce plays an important role in the community. We are a not-for-profit organization consisting of individuals, professionals, and businesses, both small and large. We have a common goal: to create a climate in which business will grow and prosper.
Tioga Department of Tourism- Experience Tioga
The Tioga Department of Tourism (Experience Tioga) works to promote Tioga, NY as a gateway to the Fingerlakes with affordable lodging, charming small towns, and a sanctuary to create new memories while enjoying the simple pleasures that rural and historic counties provides.
